Golf Croquet at Hamptworth

Golf Croquet is played on Monday and Tuesday afternoons at 2pm in the summer, 1pm in winter.
These are mix-in games, all abilities welcome. Mallets, balls & hoops provided FOC, coaching is
available, just wear some flat shoes. Games can be played at any other time that the lawns are
available; i.e not regular club times, providing the lawns aren't being used for matches etc.

It is advisable to book a lawn - contact the Clubhouse desk.

The first Monday (except Bank Holidays) of each month the Golf Croquet Section meet at the
Clubhouse an hour earlier i.e. 1pm in summer, 12 noon in winter, to enjoy an informal lunch before
play. No set meal, each member orders from the menu on arrival.

This summer (2008) we are having the usual section internal running tournament, singles and
doubles. Interested members sign up for either or both competitions, pay a modest fee, then arrange
their own matches against opponents decided by draw.

We have entered in the 2008 Golf Croquet Inter-Club Championship, a knock-out competition for
teams of four players. Each round consists of singles and doubles matches, all played on the same
day.
