Ladies' Section at Hamptworth

Hamptworth Golf & CC has an active ladies’ section with around seventy members. We welcome all lady
members and all standards of players. You will have the opportunity to get to know us very quickly as we
draw for playing partners on most occasions. Come and experience the warmth of our hospitality within
the clubhouse and, while playing either fun or competitive golf, enjoy the tranquillity, the wildlife and the
challenge of our course.

Hamptworth ladies have enjoyed much success over the past few years. In 2009, Jo Shorrocks and Sally
Huffam reached the final of the Daily Mail Foursomes and in 2008 Jo was runner up in the Wiltshire Ladies’
County Championship. We have also been winners of the Team Shield in the County Championship and
enjoyed success in the Legg Bowl and Wellow Rally.

Hamptworth Ladies’ Section also offers:

• Monthly Medal and Stableford Competitions
• Ladies’ friendly matches
• Mixed matches
• Regular social events
• Ladies’ Opens and Coffee Mornings
• Weekly updates of all planned activities

We are very friendly and welcoming and have an extensive calendar, both on and off the course. We look
