Practice Facilities
Our practice facilities in the surroundings of the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire, boast a fantastic Huxley surface with brand new golf balls and state-of-the-art ball machines.
You’ll also benefit from a short-game area to hone your shots around the green and a putting green so there are no excuses when it comes to improving your game.
New for 2023
Driving Range
Our incredible all-weather facility features 8 covered bays, equipped with TopTracer interactive screens. The hitting surface is state-of-the-art from Huxley Golf, making for one serious practice experience.
Range balls can be purchased from the pro shop (£8 for 50, or £13 for 100). There is no need to book.
The driving range is open 9am until dusk, 7 days a week. For information on lessons, group bookings and custom fitting, please call the pro shop on 01794 390155.
Coaching at Hamptworth
Our team of PGA professionals are here to help you kick start your golfing journey or reach your potential as a player. Lessons are available from £35 for 30 minutes.
Meet the team
Katie Dawkins
Advanced PGA Professional and top 50 Golf Monthly coach.
With over 20 years of coaching experience she helps golfers of every age and ability to be the best versions of themselves.
Katie coaches the individual and uses her vast experience in technique, psychology and golf fitness (TPI certified) to fix a golfer’s problems in a logical manner that is effective.
Katie has been an instructional magazine contributor for over 20 years and is an experienced golf writer and presenter for publications such as Golf Monthly, Women and Golf and Teetimes.
Adam Freeman
Adam is a talented player whose enthusiasm and love for the game shines through his coaching. He is currently in his penultimate year of PGA training, and we’re certain he’ll pass with flying colours.
His lessons feature fantastic tech to really highlight changes he makes within your game.
He’s passionate about growing the game and developing the juniors here at Hamptworth. His welcoming attitude is huge asset to us at the club.
Nathan Cook
Nathan is also on the Top 50 Golf Monthly list and an exceptional coach.
He offers individual lessons through his monthly coaching membership, and also group coaching sessions, golf days, trips and holidays.
He runs the Top 100 Tour golf society to play the top 100 golf courses in England.

Junior Golf at Hamptworth
Junior golf lessons are back

Do your kids fancy coming to get involved in a game that will last them a lifetime?
Junior Golf is a big part of Hamptworth. With weekly classes on Sundays (2pm) and our Golf Camps during the holidays, there’s always something to get their shots soaring and faces smiling. To book your spot on a Sunday or for more details, please email us at: proshop@hamptworthgolf.co.uk
Junior Membership for 16 to 18 year-olds is £150, and £100 for those under 16. Members’ children get free Junior membership.
Come and get involved with so much for the family here at the club: Sunday lunches or awesome breakfasts with stunning views over the course. There’s also homemade cake, amazing barista coffee and delicious food served all day every day.
